For your convenience, all consultations are by appointment, which helps undue time delays for you and your pet.

What if my pet has an Emergency?
Of course, all emergencies during business hours are seen to immediately and our Veterinary nurses will advise clients with appointments of any subsequent delays. We appreciate our clients understanding in times of emergencies. Should your pet require Veterinary attention outside of normal clinic hours, you will be directed to the Pet ER at 263 Appleby Rd Stafford Heights. They are high quality service and can be contacted on 07 3359  5333.

Service Fees
Veterinary service fees are discussed in full before treatment of major illness or injury is started. We endeavour to provide excellent care and service to all of our valued clients at a fair price. To maintain our reasonable fee structure, we are unable to offer account facilities, our usual practice is that fees are settled at the time of consultation or discharge of your pet. Eftpos and major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Bankcard and American Express.

Having practiced in the Caboolture shire now for more than ten years, Dr David Sprott and Julie Jaggi have come to know the needs of the local community in the provision of a superior pet health care service. Together with their staff, they strive to keep up-to-date with the latest in technical advances and medical knowledge. The fully computerised practice is equipped with modern medical equipment such as an in-house pathology system, x-ray equipment and advanced anaesthetics to ensure we take the best care of your pet. The staff is encouraged to attend on-going training in all areas of animal health and welfare. Consultations: Our consultations are scheduled as 15 – 20 min blocks so plenty of time is available to achieve an accurate history, examination and diagnosis.

Microchips: Lifetime protection for both you and your pet should your mate become lost.

Vaccinations: We stock a large and comprehensive range of vaccines to give the best possible level of immunity.

Annual Health Screens: An Annual blood test can be done along with your pets check up to ensure a healthy animal. If something is detected is allows prompt and early treatment.

Dentistry: Caring for your pet’s teeth is vital for their well being. We have a fully equipped dental workstation that includes a high-speed drill and polisher, which enables us to provide complete dental care.

Surgical Procedures: With a dedicated surgical theatre and the senior vets surgical qualifications the majority of procedures can be performed with the hospital.

Anaesthetic Machines: All our anaesthetic machines are equipped with ‘isoflurane’, a much safer anaesthetic agent that gives a much quicker recovery for your pet. Precision monitors accurately calculate your pet’s heart rate, respiration rate and the blood oxygen level. In addition, a fully qualified vet nurse monitors your pet.

Pathology: With an in-house machine we can quickly and accurately measure your pet’s complete blood count and biochemistry. We also can test for Heartworm, Pregnancy, Parvo Virus, Feline Leukaemia and Feline Aids. A laboratory in Brisbane provides further pathology support.

X-ray Machine & Automatic Processor: Our surgery is fully equipped to take excellent diagnostic radiographs and develop them rapidly.

Specialist Access: If further assistance is required specialists in the fields of Cardiology,internal medicine, Ultrasonography, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Orthopaedics and Soft Tissue Surgery can be called upon to aid your pet’s treatment.

Geriatric Health Care: Individual health care programs can be designed for your aging loved ones. Blood testing, Anaesthetic monitors and intravenous fluid therapy make anaesthesia in the senior pet a much safer option.

Nutritional Advice: All the staff are trained in the benefits of premium foods and prescription products and will offer their free advice. We have a complete range of foods for dealing with weight loss, intestinal disorders, liver & kidney problems, diabetes and urogenital disorders.

Professional Grooming & Hydro bathing: Our Groomer can attend to all your dog and cats grooming requirements, from a style cut to a tidy up or a bath and blow dry.

Our veterinary nurses, like their human equivalents, are required to undertake studies to gain their qualifications. Our nursing staff have special interests in pet nutrition, dentistry, behaviour and training, and welcome your enquiries regarding these and other areas of animal health and welfare.
